The IT Assets Engineer is a member of IT Asset Management – Headquarters. The IT Asset Management function performs in accordance with the governance, oversight, and operational sports activities of the hardware manager exercising in the manual of strategic IT and operational services.
What You’ll Do:
- Activities embody renovation of the IT asset inventory inside the ServiceNow platform, taking elements with out of doors techniques and organizations to embody IT Procurement, IT Finance, and Vendor Management inside the collection of critical attributes helping the effective and properly timed management of IT assets through their lifecycle. This includes, but is not constrained to; renewals, price optimization initiatives, way overall performance implementations, and internal audit reporting.
- Development and oversight of the IT asset lifecycle, which consists of inventory, assignment, stockroom, harvesting, and disposal

- Work with Configuration Management on the discovery and renovation of relationships amongst Assets and Configuration devices operationally helping IT and Business Services.
- Create and publish monthly recognition inventories and usage positions, to embody worldwide IT assets.
- Ensure visibility into dealer risk and compliance positions are helping spherical key dates of warranties, renovation agreements, and dealer contracts
- Responsible for non-prevent way improvements similar to partnering with asset owners to make certain asset data is stored accurately and up to date sooner or later in the lifecycle
- Maintain required detail and emergency spare inventory levels (Stock; wherein applicable)

- Excellent cappotential to control multiple competing priorities and flexibility to adjust to changing requirements, schedules, and priorities
- Highly self-stimulated and directed with a keen hobby to detail
- Required to acknowledge, respond, and fulfill purchaser requests in a properly timed way
- Good verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to multi-mission in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in a generation, Finance or similar; Or identical work experience
- Certification as a Hardware Asset Manager (CITAM, CHAMP, etc.) with the resource of the use of a diagnosed organization is a plus
- Experience using helping generation in the manual of the asset inventory; CMDB Discovery Tools is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft equipment including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio or identical products, including G Suite
- Knowledge of Hardware and Software discovery equipment and methods
- Solid track record of proactively taking off hardware asset management way improvements and proactive engagements with all levels of a big employer is a plus
