What You’ll Do
- Perform cease-to-cease North America indirect tax (profits and use tax, fee-added tax, gross receipts tax, excise tax, etc.) compliance, collectively with statistics collection, analysis, and calculation; tax move returned preparation; GL account reconciliation; and filing, payment, and mag entries
- Provide audit resources and enhance audit readiness via improvement of documentation and processes, Tesla Remote Jobs Part Time
- Respond to compliance-related notices from government authorities and internal tax questions from profits and buying teams. Conduct tax technical research, as needed
- Comply with internal audit requests and maintain Sarbanes-Oxley-compliant documentation and processes
- Manage issuance and reputation of exemption certificates
- Renew tax licenses and resource the economic business enterprise license group with statistics requests
What You’ll Bring
- 3-5 years of indirect tax experience with an accounting organization and/or organization tax department
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, tax, and/or finance
- Substantive tax know-how and robust research skills
- Excellent written and verbal conversation skills
- Detail-oriented self-starter who can organize, prioritize, and manage urgent and competing closing dates in a quick-paced and stressful work environment
- A friendly and respectful individual who can assemble and maintain robust running relationships internally and externally
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Alteryx, Tableau, and/or Microsoft Power BI experience a plus, Tesla Remote Jobs Part Time
