Position Summary
The Payroll Tax Analyst is liable for organizing, managing, and appearing payroll tax functions. Costco Wholesale Corporation
Job Duties/Essential Functions
- Reports periodic, quarterly, and annual tax with ADP, our third-celebration tax carrier provider, which includes W-2 preparation.
- Works with the IT Payroll crew on quarterly and annual tax reporting, which includes W-2 preparation; checking out and putting in tax-associated bulletins, patches, and model upgrades; corrects tax compliance troubles inside the SAP HMCM application; different troubles that could arise.
- Prepares W-2 corrections, and prepares and documents tax amendments.
- Resolves tax price and reporting troubles with the IRS, SSA, and different authorities agencies.
- Identifies, analyzes, and corrects tax compliance troubles inside the SAP HCM payroll system, and develops and plays audits of the payroll system.
- Researches and analyzes payroll and payroll tax compliance troubles.
- Determines the payroll tax implications of business enterprise repayment and advantage plan changes.
- Assists with the business enterprise’s RSU, deferred repayment, and relocation plans; and ex-pat payroll. Costco Wholesale Corporation

- Creates documentation for the withholding and employment tax processes.
- Understands and applies SOX controls to payroll, payroll tax, and accounting processes.

- Experience, Skills, Education & Licenses/Certifications
Required:
- Accounting diploma or equal work experience.
- Recent multi-country payroll tax experience.
- Prior tax and accounting experience with big corporations.
- Prior experience operating with third-celebration tax carrier providers, ideally with ADP.
